Those will give you maps which you run to get tradeable shard bags which are worth even more. Once you get to T1 you will also have access to a multiple-times-a-week content called Chaos gates. I just recommend using your green bar until it is empty and let it refill naturally. You can start lifeskilling as early as East Luterra which you should have unlocked by now at your level. Flowers are currently 58g per batch of 100, Meat is worth 70g per batch of 100. Foraging and hunting are both currently worth a lot because high end players want to make Battle items and/or food items for high end raids. If you want even earlier sources of gold, the only real way currently is by doing lifeskills. When you get to T2 you can also follow this by selling Life Leapstones with the same intent (Guardian raids for tradeable ones, Chaos dungeons for bound ones that you use to hone yourself) currently at 14g each. As of this post they are currently 11 gold each on the NA East region (which will add up and is a lot for a brand new player). You get untradeable versions when you do Chaos dungeons that you can use to hone, while you can sell the tradeable ones on the auction house. Your first source of early game gold will be from "Harmony Leapstone" which you get tradeable versions of when you do your T1 guardian raids (This is level 50 content). Fortunately you won't need gold until much later, but realistically if you want to start earning it early.
